Is there a deposit due upon booking?

Yes. One half deposit is required to hold tour reservation. Full payment

amount is due 60 days before departure date.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made at least one month in advance from

departure date for a full refund. Cancellations made less than a month

of departure date will receive a refund of half of their initial deposit,

(for example: tour =$4,000, $2,000 will be charged and not refundable).

How can I pay for my trip?

Acceptable payment options are credit cards, Google pay or Venmo.

Tierra Tour SW does not accept checks.

I was put on the wait list. When am I expected to pay?

Travel guests on a waiting list must pay in full at time of booking

confirmation if the tour is scheduled to depart within the month. Travel waiver and agreement must be signed when payment for tour is

made in full.

Are tours ever cancelled?

No, but tour dates are subject to change slightly with unforeseen conditions, such as

weather or market changes.

Is my flight included?

No. All flight arrangements must be made by each tour participant.

What does 'optional' mean on the itinerary?

Optional activities are “optional.” There are optional activities on the

tour, if a person declines to participate, extra free time to explore or

relax is encouraged.

What if my flight gets cancelled or I lose my luggage?

Tierra Travel Tours (Spirit of Life LLC) is not responsible for cancelled flights,

lost or stolen belongings, or damage to personal property.

Will there be a doctor traveling with us?

No. Tierra Travel Tours is not liable for any medical complications, conditions, or

injuries during your travel with us.

Does Tierra Travel Tours provide travel insurance?

No. It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance. We recommend Allianz Global Assistance www.allianztravelinsurance.com

Does this tour require a lot of walking?

Yes, there is a fair amount of walking on the tour, so tour participants must

be in good health and able to walk several miles per day. Tierra Travel Tours is

not ADA accessible.

How should I pack for the weather in New Mexico?

The climate in northcentral New Mexico is sunny, arid, and dry.

Temperatures can vary according to season and day to night. A typical

temperature swing can be up to 40 degrees. Pack lots of layers, a rain

jacket, bathing suit, hat and good walking shoes.

What if someone on the tour disrupts our trip?

Tierra Travel Tours supports mindful, respectful behavior for fellow tour

participants, hotel personal, and tour guides. Please respect timelines

for events and travel itinerary.

Boisterous and callous behavior is not acceptable and tour participants

may be asked to leave forfeiting their refund.
